What do i need to install a remote start/alarm into this vehicle. I have read something about passlock,(dont know much about it), which interface would you recommend? Also do you need to a bypass for the remote start?

passlock is the anti-theft device that needs to be bypassed in order to remote start. Also a door lock interface module is recommended. There are many bypass modules and databus interface modules, but I use the PLDATA for the passlock bypass. Wherever you see a passlock interface, there should be a doorlock interface as well you can look at.

Which combination is better? I read somewhere that the GMDLBP has a lot of problems? How easy/difficult are they to wire up?

Where is the best/cheapest place to buy the 456g?

GMDLBP is flawless, I have installed many of them without a single problem.. well ok, I had one problem, but it was my fault, installed wrong.... I had the GMDLBP and a relay being ran off the "ground out when running" wire. I fixed the problem by diode isolating the relay from the GMDLBP. You can get them from www.bypasskit.com ect... Email me if you cant find one.
