I have come across wires on vehicles before that were in fact different colors from what we were supposed to find. The last Chysler vehicle I had the ignition line was not dark blue, it was light blue in a SRT4. The Toyota Rav 4 I worked on yesterday had different color doorlock wires, yet everything else is the same. I highly doubt the fitter changed the wiring around but sometimes you never know. This is more apparent when the vehicle is a rebuild or if it a ghetto wire job to fix a problem. Most of the time things are close but it's always the best idea to check them with a meter yourself to verify things for sure.

just test it with a meter. you'll find out quick what the wire is. yellow in jeep is usually starter.
