I am on my second 530t winodw module  and I think this one may have went bad. The first one was drainging the battery and now I have had a dead battery the last few times I tried to start the truck . I will charge the battery and let the truck sit for 2 or 3 days and it will have a dead battery. I was wondering if this could be from something I am doing or if it could be because my windows or hard to go up and down.

How and why do you think it is the window module draining the battery? It only draws current when active.

It seems like the battery only goes dead when the alarm is set for 2 or 3 days. If I leave the alarm disarmed the battery will atleast last a week. I am going to disconnect the winodow module the next time I have a chance to verify this. Just thought I would get some ideas before I got back underneath the dash.

Most alarms when armed draw maybe 30 - 50 mA. If you have a weak battery to start with this is enough draw to kill the battery in a few days. How old is the battery in the vehicle?

"If I leave the alarm disarmed the battery will atleast last a week."

This right here should show you the alarm isn't the problem. Without the alarm armed it lasts AT LEAST a week? A battery should stay charged longer than that I would have that battery checked.

I know the battery will last a week, but it may last longer, because I have not let the alarm sit diarmed for more than a week. I have had the alarm disarmed all week and plan on trying to start the truck tonight. If it does start I plan on disconnecting the window module and let the truck sit next week with the alarm set.
