First of all, this is my first post here so I say hello to everyone. I installed alarms for 4 years in England to Thatcham Standards. But now I'm back in the states and haven't installed in 3 years. Anyway, here's my dilema:

I have an Accele RS603 stand alone remote start that I'm installing in a buddy's 96 Jeep Wrangler tommorrow along with an alarm and pager.

Anyone who's used Accele products knows that the instructions they provide are sketchy at best. You have to play with their systems on the bench first sometimes. This system appears to have no override except for a switch installed in the ground line. It also appears to have no programmability and the "manual"  does not  indicate how long the vehicle will run nor how many times it will try to crank.  It also appears to be a "tachless" system.

Anyone got a clue about this system or perhaps know of a website that has the same product with expanded instructions?  Accele's site is not worth a damn in my opinion.

Thanks in advance,

Nobby

Personally I wouldn't install this system into the Jeep if I were you. Looks like it's not a very safe system to install for the installer and the end user. I tried to find information about this company and there's really nothing I could find on the internet. sn't there a more reliable system that you can get your hands on ? Something with tach sense and also other safety features ? Sorry if this didn't answer your post but I couldn't resist but to put my 2c's worth about this system that you are going to install.
