On the 2004 Kia there is a key sense wire that is positive, does any wire from the remote starter need to be connected to this wire? Thank you for any help you can provide.

Do I have to connect any wire from the remote starter to the key sense wire? I have done several remote starters but I have never run across this wire before. Thank you for any help you can provide.

Some alarms give you the option of connecting to a tach wire or a key sense wire. It all depends on your alarm

It would most likely be useful for an immobilizer bypass, which you apparently don't need on that car.
(For those that care-- cars that use RF transponders to activate the immobilizer sometimes behave oddly if they "see" two keys at the same time. Thus, bypass kits often wire into the key sense wire so that there's no chance of the key being inserted while the "key" in the bypass unit is also active)
Most of the time, not necessary.
