Installed remote start w/ keyless entry on 95 Camry. Everything seemed to work fine for a few days...

Keyless entry door unlock/lock worked fine after I installed, worked when doors closed and when doors are open. But after a few days, it becomes interminttent, may have to press 2x to open, then 3x, then doesn't open at all no matter how many times you press. You hear the click click of the door open motor, but door remains locked. I thought it may be a loose wire so soldered the 2 wires on better, problem repeats.

Saw a couple old post on this, and I think I may have used wrong wire(?) b/c Camry may have the child safety feature lock(?). I think the wires I used were light green for lock, dark green for unlock.

Anyone willing to walk me through how to fix the problem? Old post mentions bypassing diodes(?) or using relays(?)??

Toyota Camry 1995 V6 LE installed with DEI Rattler 369D remote starter/keyless entry. Thanks in advance for any help...

when connecting the unlock, try 18ga. Green (-) along with Blue (-) lever wire to override switch lockout

|       POWER LOCK|blue/white          |- |passengers kick blue plug   |
|     POWER UNLOCK|lt. GREEN/ red       |- |passengers kick blue plug

if theres child-safety on the 95 which am sure it does. use blue/red some where near lock/unlock

Sorry I didnt answer sooner, use 2 diodes,"Y" the 2 diodes together with the 2 cathodes facing the unlock wire from the alarm and 1 anode side to the
vehicles unlock wire and 1 anode side to the child safety wire.

the link below gives you some info on diodes.
