Hello all, I am installing a viper 791xv on a Toyoya Tundra with the installation manual, but having trouble where the 4 wire connector (pink, orange, purple, blue) on the extreme capacity relay satalite connection should be made. Thease are not the heavy guage wires. Could anyone explain to me where these 4 small guage wires connect to and where the heavy guage connect to. eg, pink small guage-------- 200ma ignition relay turn on pink heavy guage---------output to primary ignition circuit I am trying to understand the difference between thease two connections. Thanks. F.John

lets not confuse urself and dont use it. i didnt use it for those tundras.
lets just say, those are extra and optional wires. again, no need for ur application.

You would use those small gauge wires to send signals to relays that were powering things like a 2nd starter wire, a 3rd ignition wire, or what-not. Also, you might use the blue wire to tell an immobilizer bypass when to turn on. Basically, they're all signals that might be used in more complex installs.
The heavy gauge versions of them are the wires that actually take the place of your ignition switch when the remote start happens, funneling power from constant 12V lines to your various ignition, accessory, and starter wires.
Or, as profuse007 said, "extra and optional ... no need." ;)

Hello all, During the installation, I came across the secondary harnes,(h2/1) wire connection guide which is on page 21 of the installation guide. Could you confirm, Is it necesserary to connect the H2/1 GREEN/ BLACK - wire to be connected through a relay to disarm the factory alarm and to rearm as it shows in the diagram . If I have to use a relay, what spec relay to be used? H2/2 wire is factory alarm rearm, and that one doesn't show a relay. Does it require a relay also? Thank you fjohn,

I haven't done a 2001 tundra, but I've done other Tundras around that year, and never had to disarm factory security. Try hooking up the rest of the remote start, locking the doors, and seeing if remote starting triggers the factory security-- then you'll know for sure...
Either way, you probably don't need a relay. If you do, a standard 20/30 amp is way more than sufficient.
