Hi! guys

I know this is a funny question.

What is the difference between door trigger and a domelight when you probe them. The toyota sienna that i worked on has door trigger wire & also domelight wire.

Please,help would be greatly appreciated.

Sometimes there is no difference-- the wire that turns on the domelight (by going to ground) is an effective door trigger. In that car's case, I believe that the RED / green wire is for 2 of the doors, and the RED / yellow the other two, and if you jump either to ground, the domelight comes on. However, I haven't been in one real recently, so check that w/ your trusty DMM!

Me, who also suggests low amperage fuses in any testing...
