I am about to put this alarm in my 1999 Ford Contour.  Does anybody have any do's or don't for me?  I will need to bypass PATS, right?  What are some of the ways to bypass it?

You might-- that was an option on that car. Is there a theft light that lights up for a few seconds after you turn the car on?

Use a 555F module to bypass it.

hmmm....There's no theft light on the car.  So I guess I won't have to bypass it?  Even though my key has a chip in it?

Don't sweat this too much-- if it needs a bypass, you'll know at the end (car will remote start w/ key in ignition, but not w/ key out of ignition).
