i have a dei automate 7hf that im putting in a olds cutlass supreme 95 i have powered up all the ing. but get a check engine light but it goes out when i turn the key on what could be the problem

Are you powering the pink, brown (dark blue/white?), purple (PURPLE / white?), and orange wires in the ignition harness?

I powered every thing i dont see a dark blue/white but I see a tan/white

Does the tan-white get power when you turn the key?
