 Hi all.

Installing a astroflex remote start into a 2004 trailblazer. I've got the AstroChart program which is great for most installs except for a slight discrepency in this perticular truck. The Green park lamp trigger wire from the R.S Module goes to the park lamp feed circuit. The picture of the wire to spice into is located at base of steering coloum a taped wire loom runs across the top of the drivers knee. In that wire loom is a Brown 12ga wire that is suppose to be the Parklamp feed. it only seems to supply power to the dash lights and. I suppose I'll have to remove the fuse/relay box under rear seat and locate the wire at the relay. At least I've got the bypass modules that run the doorlocks through the serial bus circuit.

I hate remote starters. Lots of requests for installs and if we dont do them its a 2 hr drive south for install. It was only -35C day before yesterday so I guess thats why all requests.

thanks

So a bosch relay powered by the parklight output from the astrostart with a ground output from pin 30 to the grey/blk wire should do the trick.

thanks

use one of the progammable outputs and set to park lights.  BUT, the park light wire IS brown but not 12ga. in the harness running horizontally under the column.  The correct one works all park lights, not just dash.

they are both right the color is grey/black and is negative at the column or brown in the drivers kick positive. use either but i recommend grey/black.
