Hello,

I tried looking up information in the database & a seatch in the forums but found nothing.

I have a 2000 Ford F-350 super duty diesel 7.3 crew cab that I plan to install the Viper 791xv. I found the wiring info but not much else. My question is what additional modules will I need for the bypass, window roll-ups, and doorlocks?

Id be happy if I know just what bypass module I will need.

Thanks a ton!

Sean

It all depends on what unit you are using. I use the ultrastart brand, the 1250 is the keyless entry and remote start, but the design also includes outputs to roll windows up and down. It has a constant lock output to trigger roll up and the trunk release output is validity, so it will roll down as long as you hold it down. It also has a programmable diesel delay for glow plugs, a built in turbo timer, and a cold start mode for when you can't plug it in, so it will start every hour, two hours, three hours or four hours, all from the remote! Very nice! and check this out, all the f150's 2000 and up have a transponder antitheft system, but f250 and 350 don't have any anti theft! what kind of sense does that make? so, in short, you need no antitheft bypass, doorlocks depend on if you have factory keyless entry or not, and window roll up depends on the unit you're using. gimme some more info, and i'll throw you what i know! good luck
