Hey guys, I'm going to be installing my first remote starter. (I've installed car audio systems before). The Vehicle is a 99 Jeep Cherokee, with a factory installed alarm/keyless entry system. I've looked around, and I know there are certain add-on modules and things like that, but I want to know if there are any remote starters that will allow me to install a remote starter and keep the factory installed alarm/keyless entry. Is this possible? If so, are there any brands that are recognized as high quality or ones to stay away from? Thanks a bunch.

Justin

I just bought a Mannix sm700, and it clearly states you'll still be able to use factory alarm, arm/disarm, etc. It is also and alarm unit.  Has an LCD 2 way FM remote to alert you of alarm trigger or car  starting, anyways, u can look at it on ebay, just do search for mannix alarm
