I have a clifford matrix 3 in my cavalier that seems to go off every 15 minutes. I just added a prox sensor and voice module a month ago but this just started today. What could be causing this, I was thinking it could be a bad sensor but I really dont know much about alarms.

Look at the LED ( see how many times it flashes)and then in the manural and see waht zone is being triggered.

What zone is going off???? Did you install this yourself?? if not, it might be easier to take it back to the person that install this for you.

zone 3 is going off. the manual says two stage progresses from warning to full alarm. It has a description of door switch circuit. Would that mean that a door might not be closed tightly. I took it in to quality auto sound to have them check it because the drivers side door wont lock or unlock with the remote and they said that since I replaced an acuator and added sensors that they wont warranty the alarm or their work. I need to try to figure this out myself so any more help would be appreciated.

I added the prox to the harness for the shock sensor and tapped the wires coming off of the brain for the voice module.

how do I check if they are good. I have one more question while youre helping me. The alarm wont warn you away. It will give the warning chips and then go to full alarm. What could be causing that. Could it be the sensors I added.

I also noticed that after I arm the system it gives me 1 error chirp. Could that be because of a bad door pin switch. If they are bad is that something that I can go to a parts store and buy or would a audio shop be the best place to get them.

Did you use diodes when you put on the other sensors. Try and adj the senstive of the shock sensor, also may ahve to relocte it. The error chirp means that a trigger is open. and since your alarm is going off and sensing it a door trigger, im guessing you have bad pin switch. Hopefully you dont have a dome light delay. Open the door kept pushing the
switch in and out and see if the light goes off everytime you do. Does it do it everyday or so offten, finding a interminntent problem can be a pain. Or just pull one out at time and see if it goes away. To get news one go to the dealer ship or auto parts store. I belive they are under $4 each.
With the sensors un hook the ones that you put in and see if you can get warn away chrips.
