i just bought a '96 sunfire, 5-speed standard with remote start and sometimes it works fine but half the time it turns off after 30 seconds and restarts. it restars twice then shuts off completely. i have an autostart. if anyone has any ideas let me know

Which by-pass module are you using?

if it runs for 30 seconds then its not the bypass. passlock shuts the car down after a few seconds. try reprogramming the tach and make sure all connections are tight.
