Jeff/ Anyone else:

I bought a Viper 600ESP,  and I was wondering what was the cheapest way to install remote start? I've done quite a few alarm installs before, but never a rem. start. I have a 1993 Nissan Sentra, w/Tach M/T.

What's the best deal for someone on a College student budget like myself?

You may install it yourself but viper are not the easiest first one kind.

take your time double check evrything and should be ok

make sure you can access programing of your viper unit first (it could have be locked by a bit (ch) writer unit.

If it's ok you may start your installation.Dont forget that nissan have a second start circuit that you should feed with an extra relay there is the wiring diagram.

reading is the key of success so read that chart and the installation manual carefully and do-it yourself!!

Doing a remote start compared to an alarm is not that much more difficult. Only a couple more wires but programming can be a pain in the @$$. Take your time and solder all connctions. Use the above supplied wiring diagram and use this forum for additional support if you run into problems.
