I have an '87 Jeep Cherokee that I use for parts for my '92 Jeep. The '92 is a 4banger the other is the 4.0 inline 6 - other than that, everything is the same. But, the '87 has neater stuff that I must install into my '92 like power everything. the '92 was purchased - STOCK - no power anything, all manual. I'm in the process of installing the rear hatch door mechanism which has an actuator to unlock and lock the door. The '92's wireing is like totally way different and I must say, I'm having a bit of problems in hooking this up. I want to eliminate the keyhole by bondoing it flush so I'll need some kind of button - I guess - to lock and unlock. I have an UNGO BOX 5200 which I snstalled but don't have a remote for.
Any diagrams, help, and comments will be greatly appriciated. This is driving me nuts. Oh, and is there anyway to swap out the alternators? I have a 90 but the one in the '87 is like 120amps - much needed to power the 18" Cerwin Vega powered by a RockFoss 800 watt amp.
Thanks

Okay, how about this question:
How can I wire the back hatch with a push-button switch that I will install myself? The actuator mentioned above was to lock and unlock the back door. But now, I need to find out how to open and close it with the button. I don't understand the wireing back there - seems like maybe a negative pulse will open it but how that is going to happen is beyond my knowledge.
Any help will be appriciated. Thank you
