Here's the situation. I bought a used ESP550 from a friend. It was professionally installed and workng fine, came with everything and removed cleanly. I'd like to install it in my base 87 Saab 900 which doesn't have anything right now. I've read the directions many times, marked off most of the wires, and think I have a handle on how to install it though i am not certain. A few things puzzle me and would probably be asking a bunch of questions from you pros and may need to be walked through a few things. I also have a new much simpler Whistler remote start which I could install instead. I really would prefer the ESP550 instead with the alarm and remote start but I don't want to get bogged down doing the install either. I've installed stereo's and alarms in many of my cars before but nothing as complex as the 550. Is the 550 installable by a shadetree type without too much trouble? Could I count on some quidance if I run into problems?:D
