Ok Need some help guys.  I am going over the wiring diagram for my 2003 Nissan 350Z and it has a note which states.  EXTENDED PULSE ON THE ARM/DISARM WIRES WILL ROLL THE WINDOWS UP OR DOWN.  Now I have already purchased a DEI 529T window module to use in conjuction with my Compustar 2WSS-AS.  If I am reading right I do not need the DEI Module to roll windows up or down.  I Guess the extended pulse just means holding down the button on the remote transmitter, Correct?????  Will the power window module provide any benefit over just hooking into the ARM/DISARM wires??  If anyone has any input, experience, or installation instructions with this option. please help me out.  I have installed a few alarms but this is my first time doing a window option.  Thank you in advance.

The wire that you use to lock the door will roll up the front windows after a few seconds if you give it a longer pulse. The unlock wire will roll down the front windows with a longer pulse. However, there is no way to extend the lock pulse that is output by the Compustar alarm. Therefore, you cannot have the windows roll up automatically while arming with just the alarm. You can program the auxiliary outputs of the alarm for about 5 seconds and hook them up the lock and unlock wires, and roll the windows up and down in that manner, but you would need a Compustar option programmer. If you just want to have the windows roll up when you arm, buy a pulse timer like the DEI 528T

and connect it to the blue/black lock wire on CN4 of the Compustar that goes to the red wire on the door lock module in the driver's door. This will cause the doors to lock and the windows to roll up when the alarm arms. Caution, if you hook up ignition lock or lock before or after remote start, it will roll up the windows then to.

Well you can still use the 529 to roll the windows up when armed, which I would recommend. Then use an acc output to roll the window down by connecting it to the unlock/disarm wire.

Cool this Is exactly how I want the windows to work.  when Alarm is armed the windows roll up, and to be able to roll windows down with the remote.  Can you link me to some information on how to wire the 529 as you described?  This is my first window mod option and I want to read all I can before I attempt the install.  Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks
