I was wondering if anyone had ever used one of these cell phone boxes or installed one. Do you have to purchase a service to use these. I seen one and thought it would be neat to have.

yes, it's essentially a cell link and has a dedicated cell #.... it's actually similar in function to GM's OnStar system.....
