Blue Wire- status out
black-ground
red-12v
pink-ign

remote start doesnt work without pink hooked up to ign. but with pink and red hooked up vehicle wont start with the key???

are you using a unit with starter kill?. The 556U shouldnt ever stop the vehicle from starting with the key, unless its constantley transmitting the code, then it might. Does the car turn over but just not start when its all hooked up? Can youdescribe what the car is doing.
