Im installing a DEI Vallet 554r, a GMDL-BP, plus power door locks and power windows in 2003 GMC Sierra.  My questions is this

I have 7 leads that require a (+) 12 volt constant connection, am I okay tapping into the 12 volt constant that is located in the ignition harness or do I need to run a new lead off the battery for these connections?  Or is there a place in the trucks fuse bax that I can tap into for this?

It shouldnt be a problem to run one 8 or 10 awg of the battery and split off of that as long as each of the 7 leads are fused after splitting.

what size of fuse should i use?

that depends on the current draw.  use a multimeter to determine this
