I installed a deign-tech starter on my 2004 Ram 1500. Everything works fine, except  I get the red brake indicator light displayed in instrument panel when I remote start. It stays on until I shutoff and restart with the key. Do I need a resistor on the brake wire to the remote starter ? Any help would be appreciated, as I am not using the remote start because of this. Thanks

You must power up all subsystems with a remote start, especially on a Dodge. Theres a ignition wire your missing. Not resistors.

Thank you. I didn't do all the subsystems. I'll try that.
