Hey, Sounds like the same place most of us have been in at one time or another. Reverse Polarity set-up (or what you are referring to as a positive and negative touch-off). Is the "aftermarket door locks" actually installed as a switched set-up - meaning hat there are switches on the door activating the doorlocks, or are the doors mechanical, with the intention of the actuators to be used as a "keyless entry system" only? Or are the doors all locking when you use the manual door-lock switch on the drivers side? -

Depending on how the door-locks are set-up will help us to give you the proper set-up.

I'm not going crazy sorry it took so long to get back to you, every time i clicked on a forum the page wood load but there was nothing showing on my screen, I was able to reply thanks to e-mail, I still don't no whats up,

you can lock &unlock all doors when you use the manual door-lock switch on the drivers or passengers side?

the Kit Says same as the AEW door locking system, What every AEW means.

the only thing is the circuit Diagram on the Pos & Neg touch-off  shows  two input  wires connecting to neg (-)

two input wires connecting to 12V (+) pos and  this is the part i don't understand (two wires going to the Actuator)

Geeeee this is frustrating  if It will Help I'll scan the wiring diagram and post them if you tell me how or i can e-mail them to you  Really Thanks for the help I've been totally addicted to this site.

       Thanks Mark

I can't figure out these door locks I hope I didn't fry the alarm

What I Have Is A universal Door lock kit ,same As the AEW door locking System, Lock & unlock all 4 Doors from both the Driver's side and Passenger's sides. Model #  FAI-586 M

it has a Brown wire and a white wire I touch the two together the doors Lock touch it to gather again and the doors unlock  the white wire to ground meters 12V brown to ground i get continuity??

so white is 12V+ and Brown Ground- my Problem is there 3 different way to connect it I don't have any idea on witch one to use I'm going to try to Post the diagrams

This is what thy Call the Interior Circuit Diagram of the Relay

My alarm has 6 wires going out of it and has  it's Owen  internal Relays

Orange= Constant Off     White =Common Spot   Yellow= Constant On

ORANGE / black=Constant Off  WHITE/ Black=Common spot    Yellow/Black=Constant On

I had it hocked up to day on a Negative touch-off    Orang/cut  White connected  to Brown (off the univ/door/lock kit ) Yellow con. to Ground Orang/blk /cut    WHITE/ blk connected to White+(off the univ/door/lock kit )  that leaves Yell/blk connected to Ground!!

The problem is unlock on the remote is locked  and Locked on the remote is unlocked, I tried changing some wires around and ended up with some brunt fuse. It's a Christmas present for my daughter I'm trying to finished it by Christmas I'm stuck Thank Mark

OK, all you need to do is switch the lock and the unlock outputs from the alarm to the locks. Switch the brown and white wires around.

Hook the white off the locks to the white off of the alarm. Hook the brown off of the locks to the WHITE/ black off of the alarm.

If this doesn't work try and find an online version of the install manual and I will take a look at it.

First off ...whats the year make and model of the vehicle?

If you look at the wires coming out of your brain they represent pins 87,87a, and 30 off a standard relay

The brain controlles "internally" pins 85, and 86.   I would guess your wires colored orange and orange and black would be pins 87   normally open.  The wires colored yelow, yellow and black are pins 87 normally closed.  The white, white and black are pins 30. The top row is probly lock and the bottom unlock.....thats were your problem is I think (like auex said)  you just have the wrong group of 3 wires controlling the wrong action!!
