Im having trouble installing this Omega REC43 keyless entry kit. I have made a website that has pictures and all the paper work on the install. It is putting in a keyless entry kit in a 2002 malibu. The malibu has automatic locks but my sister wants the remote now. Well it is a single wire resistor door lock system and i've never touched one of those before. The kit I bought had an add on unit that I need to chage the polarity or some stuff like that.  Please help me out. This is a xmas gift!

Theres the link to the site with pics and more description. Thank you in advance!

1.5k resistor ground will un lock........solid ground will unlock.

White wire purple connector, in the drivers kick.....

Your site tells me, or shows me instructions for an Impalla, not a maibu.    If its a malibu, lock is 465 ohms and unlock is solid ground.

Ok you are correct it is an Impalla. Sorry.  Now 1.5k resistor ground will unlock? Is that the adjusting feature on the DLR-U single wire resistor page they are talking about? Also the white wire you say is in the purple connector, what do I connect to that? Do you know what wires on the actual unit ground it and which one I am suspossed to supply a 12v to.  If you have time can you call me about this? I got some questions. I appreciate your help.  785-969-6974
