Hi,

Just installed a Pro Start CT3360 on a diesel '96 2500 and when I do the programming and enter ready mode I get 4 flashes on the lights, diagnostics say that means 12V was sensed on the brake line and system exited ready mode. I double checked wiring and the brake input only puts the 12 V when the pedal is pushed. Will any other connection (or non-connection) cause this?

If anyone can help, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks

Mack

The unit might be sensing a residual voltage present on that wire....just to verify i would disconnect the brake wire input to the remote start and see if it will start then..

if it starts then theres a problem with the brake input and you may need to use a relay or find another brake wire...

if it doesn't start then you have other issues to deal with.
