I recently bought a used vehicle with an Audiovox Pursuit 9232 in it. Its currently set for passive arming which I find very annoying.

I'm trying to reprogram it for active arming. I can get to the programming menu and navigate my way to feature #5: active/passive arming, but I can't figure out how to toggle it to active arming (system is supposed to emit 2chirps/flashes). I've tried pushing the buttons on the 2 button remote, each individually and both together, and pressing the valet switch, nothing seems to work. What am I doing wrong?
