what kind of relays do i need for auto start and starter kill?

is there only one kind for automotive?????as long as its 12VDC

All of the remote start manufactures I have ever dealt with, have their own relays built in (for the remote start)   The only relays you might have to add will be for door lock or starter kill  spdt 30/40 amp relays are whats best to use. there are quite a few to choose from!   depending on how many you buy, they might cost a buck to a buck 50

Be careful....use a Digital multimeter  stay with name brands too,they come with fewer problems!!posted_image

There are many types of relays used, but the most common is the standard SPDT, single pole double throw relay. You can do just about anything you would need to do in a car by using these.
