i would like a killswitch that breaks the starter wire when the ignition is off and needs the brake pedal depressed in order for the key to be able to engage the starter. does anyone have a diagram on this?thanks.

Passive starter kill diagrams

Or basically, 85 ground, 86 +brake input, 30 one end of starter wire, 87 other end of starter wire.

whats best single relay or dual relay like in the passive starter diagram.

Well the simplest is the one I wrote out. 1 relay 1 trigger. You could then go brake and horn to start the car by wiring horn to pin 85 and brake to 86.
