04 Dodge 3500 - I have a customer interested in remote start and he has a fairly specific request. He works in Ft. McMurray where it is hella cold, way hella cold for you US guys. He wants to warm his glow plug circuit multiple times before the remote start process. Have any of you guys come across this before?

i guess that you could use one of the aux outputs of the alarm and wire up a relay to turn the ign on and warm the plug, other than that no.

Something to consider is that on the majority of trucks the "wait to start" light is only only for about 10 seconds or so, but the plugs really stay on much longer.

I only have direct experience with ford diesels, but I know on my excursion that even after the wait to start light goes off the plugs are hot for about 90 seconds or so.

If you come up with some solution using this info, let me know since I'd like to do the same :)

on the  2004 dodge there are no wire for wait to start. you need to use a remote start that has a time delay or hook

up a time delay  module.
