put a old dei 550hf on my olds cutlass supreme 95.

I powered up eveything but a tan/white wire and my check eng. light comes on but goes off when I turn the key to on.

powered up pink, pupple, organge, and yellow

also brown

Red, pink, yellow, org, purp that should do it.. where is your tach? Purp/wht or wht at coil

Hmm , I'd disconnect the battery and let it sit for a bit, reconnect it and see if it goes away... Stupid check engine lite...
