There is no reprograming for these remote starts. Most likely it is the remote. It may be a coincidence that this happened since the shop. I dont perfer bulldog but I have also installed them. No programing is required. It also learns tach rate automatically.

I had to program mine (deluxe 500). You may have to reprogram the remote / Tach or volt check etc. They have manuals online for all current models except the 500 deluxe.

Usually all you need to do is unplug the harnesses from the main unit on the Bulldog. Then you replug them in and push any button on the remote.

Step 1: Press and hold the breake pedal

Step 2: Turn your key in the ignition to from OFF to IGN 5 times in 4 seconds (or vice versa, sorry don't remember correctly). Lights will flash 3 times

Step 3: Try the remote - it should not work. Take out fuses from thick red wires for about 1 minute (bulldog has 2 of them). Your unit's memory should be cleared.

Step 4: Put fuses back and press button 4 (Stop - red button) on the remote control. Lights will flash 3 times. Your unit now learned the remote.

Should work from this point. Good luck!
