directwire says keyless wires are in the driver's door.. I've taken the phillips head on the top right side of the door, and the 3 torx on the bottom of the door.. what else is holding it on?

Pry the inner part of the grab hanlde (the part with the dimples where the inside of your fingers touch when you grab the handle) inward from the rest of the grab hnadle. Then pry up the window switch/handle assy. Inside you will find three phillips screws-remove them. Lastly the panel is secured with 6 clips three on each vertical edge of the panel.

Nice detailed explaination.. Somehow I managed to do that on accident as I was trying to pry the controls off.. ah well.. job still got done and nothing is broken :)

But still thanks for the info!

Btw, why does audi/vw seem to make things much more complicated than they need to be..
