i got my friend to put in a remoe start for me and i worked fine for about 5 starts and then it stped . there as a burning smell abd then i turnd the keey and the ar said nothig my battery is charged. No fuses are blown. got any ideas what it could be posted_image

That burning smell could of been from wires touching possibly shorting something out. Get under the dash and see if you see any burn traces. How did he make his connections? (solder, t-taps, ex) Hopefully nothing is really messed up unless he didn't use fuses..then you could have a real problem.

I don't want to sound like an a***ole, but you need to be more specific and structure your sentences so that we can understand them.
I think what you are saying is that you had the remote start installed and after 5 minutes it stopped, you smelled smoke, and now nothing works even with the key. Is this correct?
