Hi guys I 'm new here (1st post) and I have a problem.  I think that somehow I deactivated my remote transmitter for my Viper 790 XV.  Maybe it happened when I was trying to change the illumination function, or the vibrate mode?  O r maybe the transmitter is just shot (hope not $80 for anew one).  I had the alarm installed professionally about a year ago.  When I try to activate my alarm I see the transmit icon on the transmitter illuminate but it does not activate my alarm same for deactivate and start.  The remote seems to be working because it still lights up and sends a transmit signal (at least the icon is illuminated).  So What do you think?  Should I try to reprogram my transmitter, and how do I do it?  Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Here's a link to the install manual, check Pg. 30 for programming of remote.

If you dropped the remote recently the alarm may just need to be reset. If you've had your battery changed it may need to be reset as well. Those DEI are very picky..hard to manage if you drop your keys alot.

If this is the white remote, you are probably gonna have to replace it. They had quite alot of problems with them.
