Hi! i joined the forums because i just bought a tecvox tc4100 off ebay and am currently trying to install it, but cant seem to get the keyless entry part to work. i have read alot of posts saying to use the wires coming off the key cylinder to avoid the actual power switch on the door because it falls asleep to prevent theives from breaking in. I read that i should use:

Power Lock   blue/white   passengers kick, blue plug
Power Unlock lt.GREEN/ red    same

My tecvox schematics go like this for a positive triggered, relay-driven system (Type A)

BLACK (lock, normally closed) (not used)
GREEN (lock output) (vehicle (+) lock trigger circuit)
PINK (lock input) (vehicle fused +12V constant)
WHITE (unlock, normally closed) (not used)
PURPLE (unlock output) (vehicle (+) unlock trigger circuit)
ORANGE (unlock input) (vehicle fused +12V constant)

i tried this and its not working. Is it okay if i tied the pink and orange into the same +12V wire i used to power the alarm brain? I need some help here, the car goes into the shop for timing problems today, and ive gotta put all the trim back on...

is the positive-triggered relay-driven system (type A) the right locking system for the 95 camry?

Your alarm has built in door lock relays.  the six wires coming out of the brain represent pins on a relay (2 of them)

The pink and orange are pin 87 your lock system is Neg(-) trigger  ground these wires.  The green and purple become your Neg(-) trigger output pins 30 on your relays Connect these to you lock and unlock wires.

Green to blu/white   Purple to Lt.grn/red    Be Carefull   YOU DONT NEED ANY 12 VOLT TO THESE WIRES They are fed voltage from inside the brain!!!

thanks! for some reason the wires were switched, so when i pressed lock, it would unlock and arm, and when i pressed unlock, it would lock and disarm...... heh.... i fixed that. now i just need to know how to get to my pin switches for the doors, and where to find them and such.

|     DOOR TRIGGER|RED / white           |- |*4                          |
*4 Remove black plastic air duct covering the top right side of the fuse box to access a 6 pin plug containing the RED / white.

one wire sense all 4 door pins.

btw, theres a child safety wire for this car. go to bulldogsecurity.com and look at their diagram. you obviously ran into this problem. use two diodes and "Y" connect to the unlock wire (alarm).
