Guys I need your help. I am installing a Viper 791XV in a 2002 Grand Cherokee.

I have completed most of thge installation and I was doing the first testing.  It seems the alarm is arming and disarming okay. You can hear the relays clicking in the satellite and the status LED blinking.

However, the Remote Starter is not activating. There is not even a relay clicking in the satellite which seems to me with my limited knowledge there is no power going there.  How do I try to find whats wrong.  I have double checked the power connections and they seem okay.  The bypass module is JDL-PK. It has programmed okay.  The connections to JDL PK I have made so far are:

RED  +12 ignition switch

Violet to pin 2 on OBDII

Black Ground

Brown to Blue on the Satellite relay pack.

Can you guys please send me your ideas.

Thanks

Pete

Test for power on your constant wire and also make sure that the fuses are not blown and are inserted into the wires. Also, ensure that you have no ground signal on the hood pin switch and that the doors are closed.

I have power on the constant. No blown fuses.  I have tried it with the door open. Also I can start it with the key which tells me the kill switch is bypassed.  I'll try it with the door closed and let you know.

Thanks
