My wife's Trooper has a Viper security system installed and all of a sudden the siren just stopped working, although the vehicle horn still works .  How much voltage should I see being sent to the siren?

12volts. Aslo check to see if the ground came loose or off.

Thanks for the info, I will check it out today.  However, when I was checking for voltage I used my multimeter so therefore was using a different ground.  Is it common for the system brain to malfunction and send reduced voltage to the siren?
