Hey guys,

I have found 2 different wiring diagrams for my 2000 honda accord. On one it says to cut the started wire AFTER fuse panel, not at ignition switch, and the other says cut the started wire between keyswitch and fusebox. Which is right ?

Also, one lists a 3rd ignition wire, but not a 2nd ?

Starter kill between the keyswitch and the fusebox.....SAYS DEI, keeps the check engine light from coming ON

I have done a few of these cars and at first I used Omega's wiring specs and cut after the fuse and then I used the DEI specs and cut between the fuse and IGN and still no CHECK ENGINE light. Maybe I'm just lucky.

One more thing ....

What's the difference between:

Disarm Defeat and Disarm no unlock ?

These digrams have both, and which do i use for disarm while remote start ??
