INSTALLING A CODE ALARM REMOTE STARTER ON A 1998 DODGE DURANGO WITH FACTORY ALARM. THE REMOTE STARTER SAYS IT HAS A +OUTPUT FOR THE ALARM AND THE WIRING CHARTS I HAVE SAYS THE TRIGGER WIRE IS -INPUT. ANYTHING SPECIAL I HAVE TO DO?

What model of alarm. And what trigger are you trying to hook up to.

what exactly are you trying to do?  Are you trying to send a pulse to disarm the factory security?  Not sure what you want to do but if you have a + output wire and the wire you want to trigger is a - pulse trigger then you have to ad a relay......can't tell you how to hook it up until i fully understand what it is you want to do.

yea you are going to need a relay, hook your + output to pin 85 of a relay, hook ground up to 87 and 86, and then use 30 as your ouput for the trigger on the vehicle, ,, that's for if you are trying to disarm the factory alarm, which is what i think you are talking about... if not then msg me back, fill me in a little more
