I can't seem to find the tach wire for a 2000 chevy s10 , I know the colour wire which is white but i can't locate the coil. Is there somewhere else I could find the tach wire.

Here is an alternative location for your tach.
Tachometer - white - PCM
Notes: The PCM is located on the passenger fender. On the 2.2L the wire is in a black 80 pin plug pin 10, and on the 4.3L the wire is in a red 32 pin plug pin 20.
