I am trying to installa Code Alarm Remote Starter and I must be reading the instructions wrong. They say " This wire will ARM the security system when a POS or NEG pulse is appliedto it from an external device." SO what do I hook it up to ???? Thanks

Look straight down past the radiator on the right hand side....next to the power stearing pump./  The ignition coils there. there are like 3 wires. a right a center and a left in the connector. ANYONE BUT THE MIDDLE!

If is an E250 or E350. On the firewall kind of next to the brake booster is the connector for the BCM. Its a 48 pin .  Its white with pink.   very hard to get to.  start at the top right of the connecter and go down 9 or 10 pins

Open the hood, and look at the harness at the top running across the vehicle. There is a WHITE/ pink wire that has a tag that says CTS on on it. It is not connected to anything. That is your tach wire. If you open the hood and stood in the middle it would be just to the right on the top.
