Hey all,
I am in the process of installing a Bulldog remote starter on my 2000 Avalon, and it has gone rather easily thus far, until I got to the very last wire to connect, which needs to attach to a "+12 volt wire at the break switch".
The wiring chart on their site says it is red with a blue stripe, and the manual says it should test positive only when the break peddle is pressed.
I found a RED / blue near the fuse box that is negative always, and a RED / blue near what i think is the break switch, but it is positive always.
Now I am not sure if i am even testing hte right wires, I can't physically get anywhere near what i think is the 'break switch.'

The manual says that if it is not there, then I need to attach the wire to the rear break light, this seems like more of a hassle for me to do.
Does anyone know if I can connect to the wire that runs to the rear break light under the dash or in the kick plate or someplace else?
I have now spent many hours looking for this wire,
Any ideas?
Anyone else have have a problem like this?
Thanks,
George
