Hello,

I am in the process of installing a Viper 791XV into a 2001 Lexus RX300.  I must say it is quite a process at that!!

My question concerns the ignition and second ignition wire connections to the Relay Key Switch Interface(also known as the.....Relay Satellite Ribbon Harness on the quick reference guide).

From information I have seen at this site the Climate Control runs off the Second Ignition Wire(black+) however the wiring diagram from Alldata seems to indicate that the Climate Control runs off the First Ignition Wire(BLACK / YELLOW+) .

I have attached the Alldata image below.  Hopefully it is readable!!

Soooooooooo......

1)  Could someone verify which wire actually controls the climate control?

2)  Would I attach this wire to BOTH the Accessory Wire(orange+) AND the Ignition(pink+) (or second ignition(pink/white+) depending on answer 1) Wire of the Relay Key Switch Interface?

My thanks to all who can help me with this question.

Not sure which one controls the climate in your car.
But hook IGN 1 up to BLACK/ wire and IGN 2 to the black wire and the ACC wire to the pink wire in the car, should be good to go. Make sure the 2nd IGN wire is program as IGN and not as a ACC.
