I just got a Compustar 2w900fmr (3000) alarm/starter installed in my 2000 Ford Mustang the other day.  I tried calling the guy that installed it (professionally) but I could get ahold of him so I figured I'd see if yall could help me.  When I arm my car alarm, 30 minutes later the alarm will go off.  I turned off the shock sensor and it still went off after 30 minutes.  Any idea whats going on?  Thanks for the help,

He didn't bypass the gem module properly.  There is a way to disable it involving locking and locking your doors in a specific fashion,  however I'd recommend diode isolating your doors.

it might be the door triggers. it happened to me when i installed the exact same unit into my infiniti. a relay is needed for the door trigger.

As stated take it back and have him put a relay on the door trigger to prevent the falsing.

I'll agree with everybody else on this one, a relay should be added to isolate the door triggers.
