I know that I"ve posted this in a few threads, but I'm just going to narrow it down to this one. I have a 1996 Intrepid. I have installed a remote starter into my car, and am having problems with getting the parking lights to work when I press the buttons. This is the wiring pinouts for the harnesses. I have noticed that a few things are true.

When I press the remote start button....without the parking light relay output connected to the parking light switch, the remote start won't work. But only when it is connected. The weird thing about this is that the input wire doesn't even have to be connected...and when it IS connected to 12V+, the remote starter won't work. Do you think there is a mislabeled wire? Or maybe another wire I could use..or diodes? Please help.

Apperantly this unit has a onboard relay for the parking lights. That wire was origonaly connected to the 12v wire. If your parking lights are positive, leave it that way. That wire just gets connected to constant 12volts. The white wire is the output to the parking lights. If your parking lights are negative, seperate the red and white from the big red one and ground it. Everthing else is the same.
