I'm installing a basic Whistler alarm in my 93 Civic dx 4dr. I'd like to have the alarm lock and unlock the front doors and bought a couple of 2 wire actuators. The car doesn't have power locks. The alarm has a 150ma (-) pulse for the door lock and unlock that can be changed to (+) by flicking a pin switch at the cpu.I tested the actuators by giving it 12v and they only go either up or down unless you change polarity. This is kind of a stupid question but how would you wire it so it will lock and unlock when you arm and disaram the alarm? I'm thinking if you run a constant 12v and use the alarm (-) pulse then it would only either lock or unlock but not both. Am I out of whack here?

Also wouldn't it be better to use the (+) pulse feature since I would only have to wire the cpu wire to the actuator through a relay and just ground the other wire to the door? I'm pretty new to alarm installing and would appreciate any help. TIA

Thank you Kartuneman. Thats exactly what I was looking for. I assume fused 12v(+) is constant.
