Hello to all,new member here in a bit of a jam, going back to installer first thing tommorrow morning.9232 was set up to passively arm on a 05 Explorer but there is one problem, car has illuminated entry/EXIT.you cannot park the car, shut off motor, and sit in it because once ignition is turned off, interior light come on then 30 seconds later fades out and alarm thinks you got out and starts arming with you in it.Is it possible to keep passive arm with the way the gem module works the interior light(illuminated exit?)Did not have this feature on my old 00 explorer and was unaware that ford added it on newer models.Any help is appriciated.

you can hook up or the installer can the door trigger wires directly to the door pin switches and not the dome light.

Thanks daniel2002p for responding. When I went to installer this morning,he said that the only way around this problem with the 9232 was to go to active arming;so that is what I agreed to.Where can I find a wiring diagram for this alarm,I might make the wiring change myself in the near future rather then deal with him again.I'm just glad that there is a way around this.posted_image
