Anyone who might have any ideas to this problem would be hugely appreciated.

I installed an AST 4356M RS/Alarm into a 350Z. Here is what is going on:

Remote Start along with reservation is functioning.

Keyless Entry is functioning.

Fact. arm/ disarm through lock and unlock pulse is functiong.

All alarm functions ok.

Now... When the vehicle is remote started the doors will keyless lock, but not keyless unlock.  The unlock pin does show the double pulse signal, however no response from vehicle.

I installed a TRC in this vehicle previously with no issue however the unit needed to be replaced with a 2way unit. Any ideas.

PS AST tech had no solid solutions.

r there any factory remotes? See if they do the same thing. Does the switch on the door work when the car is running? Sounds like the factory keyless simply disables t he unlock when the car is running. In this case, sometimes you can find the ignition wire on the OE keyless mod and open it during remoter start.
