I am putting a 94 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.2 V8 into a 4wd tube buggy, so my questions may be different from your usual ones.

I need to know how to disable the factory alarm without having the factory dash wiring harness. I have seen elsewhere on this site about the yellow and purple wire being the OEM alarm disable. Does anyone know what wire that would be going into the computer? And if so does that wire take + or - to kill the alarm? If + how many volts?

FACTORY ALARM DISARMpurple / YELLOW-driver kick black plug

Normally disarm wire require a (-)

Ok, so i just need to ground that wire. Does anyone know what wire that is going into the computer???
